National Security Minister Dr. Horace Chang says an exact timeline cannot be provided for the completion of investigations into the recent bomb threats.

Since last Thursday over 80 bomb threats have been reported at institutions islandwide, most of which were schools.

One person has been arrested and charged in relation to last Friday’s threats.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation, (FBI) is working with the police on the investigation.

Dr Chang who noted that the bomb threats have stretched the resources of the police, said it is not clear when all the perpetrators will be caught.

He said at this point, the security forces forces must anticipate the possibility of more bomb threats.

In concurring, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Fitz Bailey said the police have to be mindful that there are copy cats around.

They were speaking at a post cabinet press briefing on Wednesday.
