National Security Minister Dr Horace Chang has indicated that investigators are linking Tuesday’s triple murder in St Catherine to ongoing gang conflict in Spanish Town.

Three members of a family were found dead at their home in Waterloo, Spanish town.

Dead are Omar Wellington, a sales representative, his wife Sharon Francis-Wellington a cashier and their 16 year old son Orlando Wellington.

Dr Chang noted that Mrs Wellington is among 6 women targetted in recent days, and that 2 of them have died.

He described the incidents as sadistic.
