Canadian charged with disorderly conduct following incident at the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston

A Canadian national was arrested and charged for disorderly conduct following an incident at the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston yesterday.

Charged is 43-year-old Lisa Bhudri, an insurance manager of Ontario, Canada.

Reports are that about 8:30 p.m., during the final stages of the boarding process of a flight, Bhudri engaged in a heated argument with a family concerning a child.

She began to scold the child, and airline staff and crew intervened.

It is alleged that Bhudri escalated the situation by becoming both physically and verbally aggressive towards the airline staff.

Police were summoned and Bhudri reportedly continued her verbal assault towards the lawmen.

She was arrested, removed from the flight and later charged.
