Two days into Spice’s Oh NO School Tour, the Queen of Dancehall has been forced to cancel the event.

In a video circulating on social media of a recent interview, Spice said she was excited for the other schools and what was to come but revealed that while she was on the road, she received emails from schools cancelling her appearance due to intervention from church groups who claim she was not fit to go into schools.

Aimed at educating and empowering the island’s youth on the importance of standing firm on their beliefs and values, the five-day school tour commenced on Monday January 28 with visits to Waterford and Cumberland High Schools. The tour continued Tuesday with stops at Spanish Town High and her alma mater St Catherine High where an emotional Spice, while speaking to students, recalled her experiences as a student at the institution.
