Grammy winning music producer and DJ, Walshy Fire, has written his first book. Titled Art of Dancehall, the Major Lazor DJ says the book becomes available on April 1, 2025.
In an Instagram post, the renowned DJ, shared a photo of the book’s cover, adding that he was incredibly excited to finally share this milestone with his fans. Walshy Fire in his caption, said that the project was a lifetime in the making and tells the story of the visual language of dancehall culture, featuring flyers from early sound system days in Jamaica to the rise of clash culture in the UK, US, Canada and Japan.
Published by New York based, Rizzoli Books, Art of Dancehall is available for preorder @www.rizzoliusa.com. The two hundred- and twenty-four-page book retails for fifty USD.
