Police list two persons of interest in relation to shooting death of 17-year-old female in Denham Town early this morning

The Denham Town Criminal Investigation Branch has listed two persons of interest in relation to the shooting death of 17-year-old Devanese Nelson, in Denham Town, Kingston early this morning (June 27).

 

They are Eric Murdock, otherwise called ‘Brando’ and Tevin Cross, both of Kings Heights, Water Street, Kingston 14.

 

Murdock and Cross are being asked to turn themselves into the Denham Town Police by 5:00 P.M, today.

 

Reports are that at about 12:30 AM, Nelson was at her partner’s home when explosions were heard.

 

Citizens summoned the police and on their arrival, Nelson was seen lying in a pool of blood with gunshot wounds to her upper body.

 

Nelson was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
