The police have identified the man who was shot and killed in Orange Hill near Browns Town in St. Ann, yesterday (October 19).

Dead is 22-year-old Ricardo Campbell of the community.

5 others have been left hospitalized.

Police reports are that at about 12 PM, the 6 men were standing at a shop in the community when a Toyota Voxy motorcar drove up and 2 gunmen alighted and opened fire hitting them.

The wounded men were taken to hospital, where Campbell died and the others were admitted.

The police said the wounded are in serious but stable condition.

Meantime, one man has been taken into custody in relation to the incident.

He was picked up around 1:45 pm yesterday when the police intercepted a vehicle with four men aboard.

Three of the men escaped on foot.
