Principal of Manchester High, Jasford Gabriel is expressing optimism in the ongoing search for missing 12-year-old first form student, Jayden Smith, after he was reportedly spotted by a staff member yesterday.

Jayden has been missing since last Friday.

Since then, there have been intense efforts involving the school community, Jayden’s family and law enforcement to locate him.

Today, 102 students and 15 staff members joined the search alongside a large contingent of police officers and firefighters who continued combing various areas.
