He says an incident where two men were captured on video trying to breach the gate to enter the gorge, has been reported to the police.

Mr. Shaw says flooding has also been reported in Linstead and St. Johns Road, in St. Catherine and Chapleton in Clarendon.

He said Westmoreland, Trelawny and St. Elizabeth are also affected.
