Man arrested after allegedly using steel pipe to kill his brother in Cascade, St. Ann

A St. Ann man is in police custody after he allegedly used a steel pipe to kill his brother in Cascade, Cave Valley in the parish, yesterday.

Dead is 48-year-old farmer Lenbert Allen otherwise called “Harry” of the community.

Reports are that at about 1:40pm, Allen and his 43 year old brother had a dispute over money, which was allegedly stolen.

The dispute became physical and the younger sibling reportedly used  a steel pipe to hit Allen on the head.

Allen was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

His brother was subsequently arrested.
