In celebration of Read Across Jamaica Day, Cedella Marley, the daughter of late Reggae legend Bob Marley, today (May 5) visited a few schools in Kingston where she read from two of her children’s books, Aunty Nice Time, and Get Up Stand Up.

Cedella, who is an accomplished children’s book author has also written The Boy From Nine Miles (The Early Life of Bob Marley), Three Little Birds, One Love, and Every Little Thing, was joined by Education and Youth Minister Fayval Williams, at the Kingston and St. Andrew parish library.

Cedella Marley also read to the students at the Trench Town and Allman Town Primary schools. Via her official Instagram page, she shared pictures and a video to mark the occasion.
