Entertainer Skillibeng has responded to fellow Dancehall artist Gage using numbers in an attempt to shut him down.
This comes after Gage in his latest song ‘Wha Gwaan’, said, “Skillibeng wah gwaan wid e beng.”
On Friday, via his Instagram account, Skillibeng responded to Gage using a slide containing a video and pictures to get his point across.
The first slide is a screen grab of Gage’s music video for Wha Gwaan, where he spit the lines, “Skillibeng wah gwaan wid e beng.”
The second slide is of the cover art of Skilli’s new song, ‘16 Choppa’ featuring American rapper Nardo Wick which shows that in 6 days, he amassed one million views.
The last slide is a screenshot showing the 552,000 views Gage received after three weeks.
While some social media users found the post amusing, others pointed out that Gage’s song wasn’t a diss to Skillibeng, and some say American rapper Nardo Wick is the reason for the one million views in six days.
In the song ‘Wha Gwaan’, Gage posed a series of questions to other entertainers, including Shenseea, Alkaline, Valliant, Masicka, Spice, and others.
