More legal troubles for Dancehall Producer Shab Don

According to the Jamaica Constabulary Force, Linval Thompson, otherwise called ‘Shab Don’, was taken into custody by members of the Joint Anti-Gang Task Force (JAGTF).

Music News understands that he was arrested during a targeted operation in the St. Catherine South division on Friday, June 3, following preliminary investigations into several incidents.

Shab Don was identified as a Person of Interest in the recent triple murder and wounding with intent on May 25th in Rose Heights, St. James. He is expected to be questioned in the coming days in the presence of his attorney.

In April, Shab Don was freed of gun-related charges.

However, his legal troubles are far from over. Around the same time, he was accused of offering a police officer $2 million to get rid of an illegal gun in a case he had been previously charged with.

He was charged with a breach of the Corruption Prevention Act and is expected to appear in court on Thursday, June 9, when the charge of corruption is set for mention.
