Dancehall deejay Craigy T of T.O.K and Orville Expressionz are among those standing in solidarity with Tanya Stephens after she called out the Prime Minister for allegedly editing a video.
The controversial clip shows Tanya with her hands in her pockets while speaking with the PM and others, sparking backlash from online users—some accusing her of being disrespectful, while others claim she’s revealing her “true colors.”
Meanwhile, Tanya insists she did shake the PM’s hand. In a post responding to criticism, she accused the PM of deliberately cutting the handshake and key audio, stating, “Be very afraid of the person who cut off the hand shake and audio while placing my response to New Kidz joke to seem like I was laughing with him.”
In Tayna Stephens defense Craigy T wrote, “Mi nuh surprised.” While Orville Expressionz shared, “Mi worried bout our people enuh jah jah gad. Unu wipe di (bleep) offa unu nose nuh iya.”
All this comes after the Prime Minster Andrew Holness posted a video showcasing highlights from an event put on by former Reggae Boyz star Pepe Goodison.
The PM in his caption of the post shared to his verified Instagram account, lauded the country for delivering premium entertainment and nightlife experience.
