“Something unruly is coming. Can you guess what?” said Clarks Originals in a cryptic message today (Nov 6), hinting that they have collaborated with Dancehall star PopCaan for a remake of its signature Wallabee Boot.
Coming as the entertainer’s very first official collaboration with Clarks Originals, Popcaan reinterprets the shoe with a bold red color scheme, while its striking camo print is complemented by Popcaan’s signature “Unruly” slogan that’s intertwined in the pattern of the Wallabee.
Popcaan’s ties to Clarks dates back to the 2010 collaborative hit featuring Dancehall deejay Vybz Kartel and Vanessa Bling.
In recent times, Clarks Originals has used its classic Wallabee silhouette as a canvas for experimentation, connecting with the likes of football star Raheen Sterling, Vandy The Pink, Kurupt FM, and American fashion brand Stüssy for innovative designs.
