Sizzla Kalonji is expressing gratitude after being honored with the Key to the City of Lauderhill during this year’s Jamaica 63rd Independence Celebration.
The Reggae icon received the recognition on Sunday at the Solid As A Rock concert, named after one of his classic hits.
During his acceptance speech, Sizzla thanked the people for their continued support.
Sizzla was recognized for his 30 years of contribution to music and his wider impact through a lifelong mission to uplift disenfranchised communities and reconnect people of African descent with their ancestral heritage.
