Jamaica’s Sunshine Girls are the CAC games gold medallists.

They achieved the feat after easing to a 50-36 triumph against Caribbean neighbors Trinidad and Tobago in last night’s final game of the inaugural Netball tournament at the Games  in El Salvador.

They were led  by Simone Gordon who converted 41 of her 43 attempts while Rebekah Robinson went 8  of 11 .

The Jamaicans with the result recorded a 5th win from as many games to end the competition unbeaten.

Following the result Jamaica’s medal tally at the CAC Games increased to 19…..2 gold, 6 silver and 11 bronze.
