Jamaica’s  Fraser  Mcconnell  and  his  teamate  Laia Sainz landed  a  podium  finish  on Sunday as  the  European Leg of the  Extreme  E season  got  underway  in  Scotland.

At  the  Hydro X Prix  Facility  in  Scotland , McConnell and Sainz  steered the Acciona | Sainz XE team to a commendable second place finish  in  round  three.

Mcconnell was all over the rear bumper of Molly Taylor’s E.on Next Veloce  Car in the closing moments, but was unable to make the crucial move for the win as  Taylor held onto top spot, ensuring a clean sweep for E.on Next Veloce at the Hydro X Prix. 

The final podium spot was awarded to Andretti Altawkilat.

Round 5 and 6 will be staged in Sardinia Italy on September 14 and 15.
