Three people are dead following a motor vehicle crash on Eastwood Park Road in Half-Way-Tree, St. Andrew this morning.

Their identities have not yet been ascertained, but IRIE FM News understands that the deceased consist of two males and a female.

Preliminary reports indicate that at approximately 3:40 AM, a Honda City motor car was travelling along Eastwood Park Road.

Upon reaching the vicinity of 26 Eastwood Park Plaza, the vehicle reportedly veered right off the roadway onto private property, crashing into a wall and a wooden utility pole.

The vehicle was then engulfed in flames.

The five occupants of the vehicle sustained injuries.

Three were pronounced dead at hospital.
