Speaking in parliament this afternoon, Mrs. Malahoo Forte revealed that six revised drafts of the Constitution Amendment (Republic of Jamaica) bill have been dispatched since August.

This followed reviews conducted by the Constitutional Reform Committee, the ministry’s team, and the Attorney General.

Mrs. Malahoo Forte stated that the proposed bill comprises 36 clauses intended to achieve several national goals, aimed at aligning Jamaica’s Constitution as the supreme law of the land.
