The police have identified a woman who was shot dead at a wedding, in Negril Westmoreland, on Saturday evening.

Dead is 39–year–old Rushema Senior, a call centre worker of Riverside, in Hanover.

Two other people were wounded in the incident.

Police reports are that about 6:00 P.M., Senior was taking part in a wedding, when a gunman entered the venue and opened fire on the bridal party.

Senior and two photographers were hit.

The gunman then fled the scene.

The police were summoned and the three wounded persons were taken to hospital, where senior was pronounced dead and the others treated.
