Police to increase presence and targeted operations across the country to year end

There will be increased police presence and more targeted operations across the country in the weeks leading to the end of the year.
Police Commissioner Dr. Kevin Blake indicates these measures are part of the Constabulary’s plans and key initiatives, as the force continues its efforts to protect lives, strengthen public safety and build safer communities.
He says the JCF has a clear responsibility to protect citizen’s right to live peacefully, earn an honest living and enjoy the festive season without fear.
Dr. Blake says the force is seeking the cooperation of citizens as it undertakes the initiatives.
