Kingston Creative to Host International Festival in December

Kingston is set to come alive with a celebration of Jamaican creativity and culture as Kingston Creative prepares to stage the inaugural Kingston International Festival 2026.
Officially launched on October 29, the eight-day festival will run from December 6 to 13 under the theme “Feel the Pulse of Kingston.”
The 50-event, citywide celebration will transform galleries, studios, hotels and other spaces across the capital into vibrant platforms for artistic expression, cultural exchange and collaboration among local and international creatives.
The festival will culminate in a free public Jonkonnu celebration, bringing the traditional cultural spectacle to the streets of Kingston.
Produced by Kingston Creative, the festival builds on the capital’s recognition as a UNESCO Creative City, while positioning Kingston as a hub for cultural innovation and international creative collaboration.
