The regional governing body for football Concacaf has approved an exceptional hosting arrangement for the Haitian Football Federation due to the ongoing security situation in Haiti
The decision follows a formal request submitted by the Haitian Football Federation to the Concacaf administration and which was subsequently referred to the Concacaf Council for consideration.
It will see Haiti’s home-designated match against the United States in the quarterfinals of the 2026/27 Concacaf Nations League being moved to Nu Stadium in Miami, Florida,.
The match, was originally scheduled to take place at Sabina Park , on Saturday, November 14, the same day Jamaica’s Reggae Boys face Mexico in the first leg of their quarter-final tie.
The date and kickoff time for the second leg of the USA versus Haiti encounter at the TQL stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio, remain unchanged.
Under this exceptional arrangement, the Haitian Football Federation may be permitted to play its designated home matches in Concacaf-sanctioned competitions in the territory of its opponents, rather than being limited to the Caribbean region as required under the current regulations.
This Haiti-specific measure, which will also be extended to Haitian clubs, will remain subject to ongoing review and may be amended or withdrawn by the Concacaf Council at any time.
