Attorney Bridgett Bennett advises swift action in Rygin King ICE detention case
Following news of dancehall artiste Rygin King’s detention by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, ICE, US based immigration attorney Bridgett Bennett says the first thing the artiste’s team needs to do is determine where he is being detained.
Speaking with Music News earlier today, the attorney who played an integral role in helping to reinstate visas for dancehall heavyweights’ Bounty Killer and Beenie Man after years of restrictions shared critical steps for Rygin King’s legal team needs to take.
Rygin King’s detention adds to a growing list of Jamaican dancehall artistes including Squash and Chronic Law who suffered similar fates in recent times.
The ice detention comes while the Tuff hitmaker’s New York 2024-gun case to which he pleaded not guilty, remains unresolved.
