Chronixx supports 2027 JamCoders summer camp
Written byViviene Stewart
Reggae hitmaker Chronixx is encouraging high school students with strong academic performance in Mathematics and related subjects to apply for the annual JamCoders summer camp.
The four-week programme returns July 2027, in Kingston, and is open to Jamaican students at the third to fifth form levels.
The deadline to apply is January 17, 2027.
Chronixx conceptualized JamCoders after learning about the AddisCoder programme in Ethiopia. He later made a founding donation through his caring hands of rastafari foundation to support the creation of the Jamaican programme.
First held in 2022 at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, JamCoders offers free dormitory accommodation and meals to all participants. Eligible students can apply by emailing admin@jamcoders.org.jm.
