Two Indian merchants shot and wounded by disgruntled former employee
Two Indian merchants were shot and wounded reportedly by a disgruntled former employee, at their business place in Orange Street, Kingston, earlier today.
The 2 men have been hospitalised, one of them in serious condition, while the Kingston Central police have launched a search for the alleged shooter.
Reports are that the male employee had been caught stealing and was fired.
Further reports are that the employee demanded money from his employers and when the demand was not met, he left then returned to the store, armed with a gun.
The disgruntled man shot 2 of his former bosses, one in the arm, the other in the chest and abdomen.
He then fled the scene.
The police were summoned and the 2 wounded merchants were taken to hospital and admitted for treatment.
