State owned oil refinery, Petrojam says it has sufficient fuel supplies as Jamaica prepares for possible impact from Tropical Storm Melissa.
According to Petrojam it has over two weeks’ supply of fuel in stock, and 10 days’ supply of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) in storage.
Speaking at a press conference this morning Energy Minister, Daryl Vaz said Petrojam’s loading facilities in Kingston and Montego Bay will extend hours to support deliveries before the passage of the storm.
