Second person charged in relation to murder of teen girl in Kingston
Police have charged a second person in relation to the murder of 14-year-old Terona “Tee Tee” Thomas in Kingston, 6 months ago.
Charged is 25-year-old Daniela Morrison, a contractor of Waltham Park road in Kingston.
Alleged trigger man, 24-year-old David King, otherwise called Bread-back, was arrested and charged, last month.
Reports are that in April, Morrison and a man allegedly rented a silver Nissan note motor car, that was used in the commissioning of the crime.
It’s reported that the man travelled to Hill Avenue in Kingston, where he pulled a gun and opened fire on a group of people, hitting Terona and two others, before escaping into the area.
The police were summoned and the wounded persons were taken to hospital where Terona was pronounced dead.
The others were admitted for treatment.
A $2 m reward for information leading to the arrest of persons responsible for the incident was offered by Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness.
Police reported that following the incident, Morrison allegedly retrieved the car from the man and returned it to the owner.
Upon case review, Morrison was formally charged with accessory before the fact and accessory after the fact to murder.
Her alleged accomplice, King, is facing charges of murder, two counts of wounding with intent, possession of a prohibited weapon, unauthorized possession of ammunition and using a firearm to commit a felony.
The investigations continue as detectives from the St. Andrew south division pursue other suspects connected to the incident.
Persons with information that can assist in investigating this crime are being asked to contact the Hunts Bay police.
