The Beryllium employee who allegedly stole millions of dollars from one of the company’s trucks last Saturday, has been caught.

In a statement today, Beryllium said the individual was captured following joint operations between the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) and Guardsman’s Internal Investigation Unit.

Group Managing Director, for Guardsman, David Whittaker said it was not simply about recovering stolen funds.

He said it was about defending the integrity of the hundreds of men and women who put their lives on the line every day to provide essential services to Jamaica’s businesses and banks.

Beryllium said the isolated actions of one individual do not reflect the professionalism, discipline, and dedication of the company’s wider team.
