The Commodore community in Linstead, St. Catherine, is in shock and mourning following a mass shooting in the area last night.

Reports to IRIE FM News indicate that at least eight people were shot, five fatally.

A 4-year-old child is reportedly among the dead.

Police have not released an official statement on the incident.
