The flash flood warning which was in effect for St. Thomas, Kingston and St. Andrew, St. Catherine, Clarendon, Manchester, St. Elizabeth, Westmoreland and Hanover, has been discontinued. 

The Met Service said, the trough, induced by Tropical Storm Imelda, which has been producing showers and thunderstorms over sections of southern and northwestern parishes since Saturday, has drifted towards the north and away from the island. 

Persons should expect periods of isolated showers and thunderstorms to affect sections of southern parishes and western parishes this morning. 

In the afternoon and evening, look out for widely scattered showers and thunderstorms to affect sections of most parishes.
