Mark Golding remains president of PNP, following nominations today
Mark Golding will remain president of the People’s National Party (PNP), as he was the only nominee for the post at the end of the party’s nomination exercise today.
For the post of vice president, there were 4 nominations.
They are, Mikael Phillips, Ian Hayles, Natalie Neita Garvey, and Mayor Norman Scott.
Senator Donna-Scott Mottley, had opted not to seek re-election as vice president.
In a statement, PNP General Secretary Dr. Dayton Campbell said there is no need to hold elections for these posts.
The nominations come ahead of the National Executive Council (NEC) meeting on October 4 and 5, as well as the annual conference on November 30.
