The Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) has sought to assure, that all 60 school buses will be rolled out today.

On Monday, only 53 of the 60 vehicles initially planned for deployment were sent out.  

JUTC Corporate Communications Manager, Shantole Thompson told IRIE FM News that yesterday, that number fell to just over 40.

Thompson explained that some of the buses had technical challenges. 

As it relates to ridership, Thompson noted that despite the challenges, the turn out on Monday and Tuesday was good.

She said it is expected that this will increase over the coming days.
