Three new faces in Reggae Boyz squad for World Cup Final Round Qualifiers

Jamaica has unveiled a 26-man squad for the final round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, with three fresh faces included while several key players miss out.

Captain Andre Blake, Leon Bailey, Bobby Reid and Joel Latibeaudiere have all been ruled out of the campaign’s opening fixtures. However, striker Shamar Nicholson makes his return to the team, which also features four local-based players: Shaquan Davis, Tafari Chambers, Jahshaun Anglin and Warner Brown.

Among the newcomers are Ian Fray of Inter Miami in Major League Soccer, Kyle Duncan of New York Red Bulls, and Sheffield Wednesday striker Bailey Cadamarteri, all receiving their first senior national call-ups.

The squad, named by head coach Steve McClaren, is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Shaquan Davis, Jahmali Waite, Tafari Chambers
Defenders: Dexter Lembikisa, Kyle Duncan, Damion Lowe, Richard King, Ethan Pinnock, Mason Holgate, Amari’i Bell, Greg Leigh
Midfielders: Isaac Hayden, Ian Fray, Jon Russell, Kasey Palmer, Karoy Anderson, Jahshaun Anglin, Kevon Lambert
Forwards: Kaheim Dixon, Demarai Gray, Renaldo Cephas, Tyreece Campbell, Warner Brown, Bailey Cadamarteri, Michail Antonio, Shamar Nicholson

The Reggae Boyz will begin their Group B campaign on September 5 away to Bermuda at the Bermuda National Sports Centre. They then return home to face Trinidad and Tobago at the National Stadium on September 9.

Action continues on October 10 with an away clash against Curaçao, before Jamaica host Bermuda on October 14 in Kingston. The final two group matches are set for November—against Trinidad and Tobago in Port of Spain on November 13, followed by the return fixture against Curaçao at the National Stadium on November 18.
