Six of 9 men who escaped from Constant Spring lockup in St. Andrew back in custody

Six of the nine men who escaped from the Constant Spring Lockup in St. Andrew, yesterday have been recaptured.
They are 31-year-old Junior Barnes, who was charged with possession of prohibited weapon and unauthorized ammunition, 25-year-old Kamal Kelly who was charged with shooting with intent, and 27-year-old Brandon Ennis who was charged with possession of prohibited weapon.
They are all of St. Andrew addresses and were apprehended in Trelawny, today.
Also captured are 19-year-old Richard Bishop who was charged with burglary and larceny, 23-year-old Talik Chambers, who was charged with identity theft and 46-year-old, David Rhoden who was charged with arson.
Rhoden was recaptured yesterday, shortly after he escaped, while Chambers was captured in the St. Catherine North division and Bishop in St. Andrew South division, between yesterday and today.
Three men remain at large.
They are 19-year-old Alunzo Espute, who was charged with murder, 25-year-old Dorique Douglas who was charged with wounding with intent, shooting with intent and malicious destruction of property, and 18-year-old Fray Messias, who was charged with rape.
The men are being urged to surrender to the police immediately.
Persons are also being reminded that it is a criminal offence to harbour a fugitive.
