Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness says justice will be served following Saturday night’s deadly gun attack on a police officer and his family in Reading, Montego Bay, St. James.

The attack resulted in the death of the officer’s spouse, while he and his son were was hospitalised.

Speaking at the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) mass rally in Half-Way-Tree, St. Andrew last evening, Dr. Holness expressed condolences to the family and said he is confident the police will do everything in their power to bring those responsible to justice swiftly.

The Prime Minister also reiterated his administration’s commitment to reducing the national murder rate.
