Wolry Wolfe ioins Molynes United coaching staff ahead of 2025/26 JPL Season
Molynes United have strengthened their technical team ahead of the upcoming 2025/26 Jamaica Premier League (JPL) season with the appointment of former Jamaican international Wolry Wolfe as assistant head coach.
The 43-year-old joins head coach Jermaine Thomas and fellow assistant coach Xavian Virgo as the club looks to rebound from a challenging 2024/25 campaign, where they narrowly avoided relegation by finishing 12th on the table with 35 points — just two clear of the drop zone.
Wolfe brings a wealth of experience to the role, both as a seasoned professional and as a coach. He earned 14 caps for the Reggae Boyz between 2007 and 2009, featuring in three FIFA World Cup qualifying matches during that span.
Over his playing career, Wolfe represented top local clubs including Hazard United/Portmore United, Humble Lion, and Benfica (Jamaica), while also plying his trade internationally. His overseas stints included spells with Joe Public in Trinidad and Tobago, Hungarian outfit Ferencváros, and Central Coast Mariners in Australia’s A-League.
Molynes United will be hoping that Wolfe’s diverse experience, international pedigree, and deep understanding of the game can help rejuvenate the team’s fortunes in the new season.
The 2025/26 JPL campaign is expected to kick off later this year, and all eyes will be on whether this revamped coaching trio can steer Molynes to a more competitive showing.
