An unidentified man was gunned down at a night club in Runaway Bay, St. Ann this morning.

Reports are that about 2:30 a.m., the man was standing outside the nightclub when he was approached by an armed man, who opened gunfire hitting him in the head.

The police were summoned and the man was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Investigations are ongoing.
