A Kingston man accused of hitting a woman has been arrested and charged.

He is forty-two-year-old Production Designer Damion Brown of Potters Row, Kingston 16.

Reports from the Elletson Road Police are that on Sunday July 6, Brown and a woman were involved in an altercation, during which Brown reportedly punched the woman in her in the mouth, causing bruises and swelling.

The matter was reported to the police.

Following investigations, Brown was apprehended and later charged with assault occasioning bodily harm.

A court date is being finalised.
