Member of Parliament for South West St. Catherine Clifford Everald Warmington has withdrawn and apologized for what he describes as inappropriate and offensive remarks made on a political platform last night.

The MP was speaking at a Jamaica Labour Party function in Westmoreland.

The opposition People’s National Party condemned Mr. Warmington’s use of indecent language and called for the police to take action.

Mr. Warmington in a statement this afternoon, acknowledged his comments and offered an apology.
