State Minister for Tourism, Delano Seiveright says yesterday’s inaugural flight from Portugal to Jamaica represents efforts to further tap into the European market. 

He spoke at the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay yesterday where the flight from Lisbon, Portugal landed. 

Senator Seiveright said the weekly flight shows that Jamaica is an attractive market for Portuguese tourists. 

He said there are plans for partnerships with other European nations.
