The opening week of the 2025 NFL regular season gets underway on September 4 and features spotlight games in Philadelphia, Sao Paulo, Brazil, Buffalo and Chicago.

The reigning Super Bowl champions Philadelphia Eagles will begin their title defense against NFC East division rivals the Dallas Cowboys in the 2025 kickoff game at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

This before turning their attention to the highly anticipated Super Bowl rematch against the Kansas City Chiefs on week 2.

The Chiefs however are slated to face the Los Angeles Chargers in their season opener open which takes place on Friday, September 5 at Corinthians Arena in Sao Paulo.

Meanwhile, among the Marquee games in week 1, reigning MVP Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills visit Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens, while rookie Travis Hunter is set to make his debut for the Jacksonville Jaguars against the Carolina Panthers and number 1 pick Cam Ward could start for the Tennessee Titans against Bo Nix and the Broncos in Denver on September 7.

The first Monday night game of the year features the Chicago Bears at home against the Minnesota Vikings
