Motorists travelling along Marcus Garvey Drive earlier today were stuck in traffic for several hours, after pieces of lumber fell from a motor truck.

Head of the Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch (PSTEB) Assistant Commissioner of Police Gary McKenzie said the lumber has been removed from the road.

While traffic cops have been deployed to direct motorists, those wishing to use an alternative route may go through Spanish Town road.
