The reggae fraternity is mourning the loss of singer Conrad Crystal, one half of the popular duo Sugar Roy & Conrad Crystal.

Conrad Crystal, born Conrad Constantine Hunter, died on June 17, following a battle with cancer. He was 61 years old.

News of his passing has sparked tributes from members of the music community and fans across social media.

In a tribute shared on TikTok, Sugar Roy described Crystal as more than a musical partner, calling him a true friend.

He also extended condolences to the entertainer’s family, adding that his voice and legacy will live on.

Conrad Crystal was widely known for songs such as “True Love,” which helped solidify the duo’s place in reggae and dancehall music.
