Information Minister Dr. Dana Morris Dixon says the new penalties for murder which were passed in the Lower House yesterday, show that the government is serious about preserving life.

Dr. Morris Dixon says the penalties relate to the Criminal Justice Administration Bill, the Child Care and Protection Act and the Offences Against the Person Act.
