Former NFL player Devon McDonald and several past NFL players will be hosting the third staging of tackle life football experience, from April 4 and 5 at the Jose Marti High school in Spanish Town.
McDonald played as a linebacker with the indiana colts in the 1990’s and won the NCAA Collegiate National title with Notre Dame in 1988, says the two days event covers the rules and technique of flag football, as well as empowering the young participants with life skills, in addition to strengthening their christian beliefs.
The clinic caters to players ages 13-19 and will be held in conjunction with the Jamaica American Football Association (JAFA) and the local chapter of athletes in action global ministry, led by siblings Carol, Dirk and Dominic Richards.
Steve Grant , Geno Riley and Emile Eykior are the retired players who will be part of the event.
