Cavaliers extend winning streak in NBA
Seven Cleveland Cavalier players scored in double figures, led by Evan Mobley’s 22 points and 11 rebounds, as the Cavs, extended their winning streak to a franchise-record 16 games with Friday’s 133-124 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA.
Ja Morant top scored for the Grizllies with 44 points.
Jamal Murray scored 26 points as the Denver Nuggets came through with a 131-126 win over the Los Angeles Lakers in a key clash of Western Conference contenders.
In other games, defending champions Boston Celtics rolled past the Miami Heat 103-91, Houston Rockets fired up a 133-96 win over the Dallas Mavericks, and the Charlotte Hornets stung the San Antonio Spurs 145-134.
