Stacey-Ann Williams reportedly joins Arkansas-based track club Hurdle Mechanics
Olympic and World Championship medallist Stacey-Ann Williams has reportedly joined the Arkansas-based track club, Hurdle Mechanics, marking a new chapter in her career. The 25-year-old, known for her outstanding performances in the 400 meters and 4×400 meters relay, becomes the fourth Jamaican to join the renowned track club.

She joins an elite roster of athletes that includes national record holders Ackera Nugent and Nickisha Pryce, as well as reigning World Under-20 100 meters champion Alana Reid.
Williams is a key member of Jamaica’s medal-winning relay teams. She was part of the silver medal-winning 4×400 meters relay teams at the 2022 World Championships in Eugene, the 2023 World Championships in Budapest, and the bronze medal-winning quartet at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
She currently has a personal best of 50.00 in the 400m that was done last year at the Memorial Borisa Hanžekovića in Zagreb, Croatia.
Her decision to join Hurdle Mechanics signals a new chapter in her career and will see her working under the guidance Lawrence “Boogie” Johnson.
