Harold Thomas takes over as head coach of Dunbeholden
Harold Thomas has taken over as head coach of the under-performing Dunbeholden who are fighting to avoid relegation from the Jamaica Premier League.
Thomas, who guided Dunbeholden to the 2022 final, steps into the post left vacant by Bjeon Thomas who tendered his resignation earlier this week.
A former head coach at Mount Pleasant, Thomas also has stints with Tivoli Gardens and Portmore United, and has been recognized for his tactical insights and his ability to motivate and develop players at the club level.
His first order of action will be to turn Dunbeholden’s fortune around when the St. Catherine based team travels to face Tivoli Gardens at Stadium East on match day 18.
Dunbeholden, are winless in their last six games, are currently 12th on the JPL table on 15 points, two adrift of the relegation zone which is occupied by Harbour View (13 points) and bottom of the table Humble Lion who are on 11.
Last season’s beaten finalists Mount Pleasant leads the table on 44 points.
